FELONY DWI ARREST IN TOWN OF CLARENCE


October 3, 2012- Town of Clarence-  Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Getzville man for multiple charges after a traffic stop in Clarence last night by Sheriff’s Road Patrols. 

     While on patrol in Clarence, Deputy Brandon Stott arrested Jeremy H. Wilson (26) of Getzville and charged him with Felony DWI, Imprudent Speed, Driving through a Red Light, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Driving with an Open Alcoholic Beverage after stopping his vehicle for erratic operation on Transit Road near Main Street.  Wilson refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content.  The Felony DWI charge was filed due to a prior conviction for DWI from 2008.  He was processed at the Clarence Substation and transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges in Clarence Court.  Deputy Stott was assisted with the arrest by Deputy Lee Richard.
