Sheriff Timothy Howard reports the arrest of a Town of Grand Island man for Driving While Intoxicated.
Deputy Daniel Walczak and Detective Brian O'Hara responded to a report that a vehicle driven by 57 yr. old Dana Boyle, left a business on Grand Island Boulevard in the Town of Grand Island and that the operator, Mr. Boyle, appeared to be intoxicated. Mr. Boyle was located by patrol and upon further investigation was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Grand Island Substation where a chemical breath test was administered to him. Mr. Boyle’s blood alcohol content was found to be .25%, more than three times the legal limit. Mr. Boyle was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and released on Uniform Traffic Tickets returnable to the Town of Grand Island Court at a future date.
