Erie County Sheriff Timothy B Howard reports the arrest of a Holland, NY man for Criminal possession of a forged instrument in the 2nd degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, Display and use of a conterfeit Inspection Sticker, and Unlawful possession of Marijuana.
Deputy Rich O'Neil was patrolling in Wales when he noticed a vehicle being driven with a broken windshield. After stopping the vehicle, Deputy O'Neil found that the driver, Christian J. Coffta, 28 years old, was operating with a suspended drivers license. Additionally, Coffta was found to possessed several forged New York State vehicle inspection stickers, including the one that was displayed on his vehicle. During the arrest he was also found to be in possession of Marijuana.
Coffta was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment on the charges.
