May 27, 2013- Town of Marilla- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Lancaster woman for DWI and other charges by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in Marilla on Monday night.
Responding to a report of a car hitting a utility pole shortly before 11:00 pm Monday night, Deputy Rich O’Neil discovered that Ashley Rogacki (21) was the driver. While conducting his investigation Deputy O’Neil conducted Standard Field Sobriety tests. After failing several tests she was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. The utility pole was damaged and utility crews were called in to make repairs. A breath test revealed her blood alcohol content to be .12%. After processing she was released to the custody of a sober third party and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Marilla Town Justice Court at a future date.
This was the 137th DWI arrest made by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in 2013.
