MULTIPLE OVERNIGHT DWI ARRESTS


September 1, 2012- Erie Co. Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports multiple overnight DWI arrests in Erie County.

 Shortly after midnight, Erie Co Sheriff’s Deputies Jason Bouton and Todd Jones and Sergeant John Sentz responded to a report of an accident on Snow Rd. on the Seneca Nation Reservation.    An investigation into the accident revealed that the driver of the vehicle, 28 year old Luanne M. Isaacs of Buffalo, was intoxicated.  Isaacs was arrested for DWI and transported to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office substation in North Collins where she submitted to a breath test.  Her blood alcohol content was found to be .19%.  She was also arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana.  She was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of North Collins Court.

 Around 1:00 a.m., Deputies Simon Biegasiewicz and Matthew Krypel responded to a disorderly person complaint on Grand Island Blvd. in Grand Island and found 43 year old Margaret Vucetic, a Grand Island resident, attempting to drive away from the scene.  She was determined to be under the influence of alcohol by the Deputies and arrested for DWI.  Margaret refused field sobriety tests and a refused to submit to a breath test. She was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in the Town of Grand Island Court.

 Also on Grand Island, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz responded to a report of an accident where a car struck a house on Bush Rd.  Upon arrival it was found that the driver of the vehicle, 29 year old Gregory D. Golde of Grand Island, appeared to be intoxicated and was transported to ECMC for treatment of injuries where he was subsequently arrested for DWI.  Mr. Golde refused refused a blood test that would determine his blood alcohol content.  He will appear at the Town of Grand Island Court at a later date for arraignment.
