NARCOTICS AND WARRANT ARREST MADE AFTER TRAFFIC STOP


May 4, 2012- Town of Grand Island- Sheriff Tim Howard reports the arrest of 2 women for possession of narcotics and other offenses.

While on patrol in District 1 Deputy Ryan Rogers and Deputy Matthew Cipollitti conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for traffic infractions. Their investigation resulted in the arrest of Melissa E. Miller age 22 of Buffalo for 2 counts of Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance- 7th degree; Possession Of A Hypodermic Instrument; False Impersonation. The investigation also revealed that Miller was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Buffalo for burglary- 3rd degree. Deputies also charged Sara. K. McGuire age 29 of Grand Island with Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance - 7th degree and Possession Of A Hypodermic Instrument and traffic infractions.

Both women were transported to the Erie County Holding Center on $50.00 bail pending arraignment.
