May 30, 2013- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports That the Narcotics Unit, along with the Buffalo Police Narcotics unit arrested three individuals at 1091 Tonawanda Street , in the upper apartment in Buffalo, New York yesterday, 5/29/30 at approximately 8:30PM after executing a search warrant signed by New York State Supreme Court Justice Timothy Drury.
This was a month long investigation into the activities at this location. Some of this cocaine is believed to be bought and sold in the Town of Grand Island as well as other areas outside the City of Buffalo. The Erie County Sheriffs' narcotics unit and the Buffalo Police narcotics unit have been working together for the past year trying to stem the flow of narcotics to the patrol areas of the Sheriffs office. The three individuals are Rafeal L. Martin 22 years of age, Roshann S. Carpenter 28, and Annestazia, 22 all of 1091 Tonawanda street in the upper apartment, in Buffalo,NY. All three of the defendants were charged with Criminal possession of controlled substances with the intent to sell, a B felony, (220.16-1) and 220.16-12, possession of more than one half ounce of crack cocaine. The street value of which is approximately $4,000.
They were both charged also with two A misdemeanors of criminal use of drug paraphernalia. All three defendants were taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment in Buffalo City court.
