NARCOTICS ARREST IN VILLAGE OF SPRINGVILLE


January 14, 2013- Village of Springville- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that the Erie County Sheriffs' Narcotics Unit arrested a Gerald Stresing of 10 Colonial Drive in the Village of Springville, NY. Stresing is a 42 year old male who was selling large quantities of loritabs(hydrocodone) in the Springville area. Information was obtained which indicated that Stresing was selling to individuals as far north as  Lockport and Tonawanda. Stresing had sold his prescription loritabs on multiple occasions  to an undercover Sheriffs' deputy. This is an ongoing investigation into a County wide escalating problem of opiate abuse and this arrest today was the culmination of a three month long investigation by the Erie County Sheriffs' Narcotics unit. Stresing was taken to the Erie County Holding Center after being charged with Sale of controlled substances in the 4th degree, C felonies and D felony possession of controlled substances. He will be arraigned in the Village of Springville Court.
