Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two North Collins residents for Felony Narcotics Possession and other charges after Road Patrol Deputies completed an investigation into illegal drug activities at their house.
After investigating multiple citizen complaints of teenagers using illegal drugs at 2018 Brant Road, Deputies arrested the owner of the house. Laura A. Fiegel, age 39, was charged with 4th Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (concentrated cannabis, a C Felony), 7th Degree Narcotics Possession (pills), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, 2 counts of Criminal Nuisance (maintaining premises used for unlawful conduct) and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The Endangering charge was filed because Deputies found two 16 year old males in the house smoking marihuana.
A seventeen year old male (name not released due to age) was also arrested and charged with 4th Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (concentrated cannabis, a C Felony), 7th Degree Narcotics Possession (pills), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and 4th Degree Criminal Possession of Marihuana. He, along with Fiegel, was transported to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment on the charges in North Collins Court. The two 16 year olds and an additional 17 year old male found in the house were arrested and charged with marihuana possession. They were processed and released on appearance tickets.
Deputies Theresa Nietzel and Ryan Rogers handled the investigation with assistance from Deputies Neil Held, Don Hoelscher and K9 Deputy Jordan Grabar. Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives also assisted.
