January 9, 2013- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that two traffic-related incidents overnight have resulted in three arrests.

Deputies John Szczepanski and Thelma Jones were dispatched to investigate a one-vehicle rollover accident on Vermont Hill Road in Wales at 6:53 PM.  The driver of the vehicle, Jeriann Brock, age 52, of Holland, was transported to South Buffalo Mercy Hospital by fire personnel, where she was treated for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.  She was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law offenses.  She was released at the hospital on traffic tickets, returnable in the Town of Wales Justice Court.

Deputies Neil Held and Christopher Soluri were dispatched to investigate a car off the roadway on Old Lakeshore Road on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation at 3:34 AM.  As a result, the driver, Dakota Thompson, age 20, of Perrysburg, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law offenses.  He refused to submit to a chemical test to determine his Blood Alcohol Content, and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, with his release pending on bail being posted.

At the same incident, a passenger in the vehicle, Samantha Jimerson, age 21, of Collins, attempted to interfere with the vehicle being towed from the scene.  She refused to leave the scene, and was subsequently arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest.  She was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, and her release is also pending bail being posted.
