Narcotics Detectives Find Cocaine and Stolen, Loaded Hand Gun
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrests of Michael and Nicole Billups of Buffalo following a joint narcotics raid on January 13 at approximately 12:20 A.M.
The Sheriff’s narcotics unit was accompanied by members of the Buffalo narcotics unit executed a search warrant signed by Judge Kenneth Case at the subjects’ Briscoe Street residence. Sheriff’s Detectives discovered over four ounces of cocaine, various drug paraphernalia, and a loaded .38 caliber handgun; the Sheriff’s office later determined the handgun was stolen.
Michael Billups, 37, is charged with an A-felony for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony counts of criminal possession with intent to sell, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal possession of a stolen property. In addition to the felony counts, he is charged with two counts of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
His wife Nicole Billups, 47, is charged with an A-felony for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony counts of criminal possession with intent to sell, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal possession of a stolen property as well as two counts of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael Billups remains in the Erie County Holding Center without bail while his wife, Nicole, was released after posting $50,000.00 bail.
