Trespasser had Crack Cocaine in His Pants

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Bauer and Feggans conducted a premise check of Erie County’s Black Rock Canal Park around 4:10 A.M. Wednesday morning when they observed a male walking in the park.

The Deputies approached the male and advised him the park was closed and arrested Shawn Rowell, 40, of Buffalo.  During the Deputies search of the subject, Deputy Feggans discovered a vial of crack cocaine.

Rowell is charged with trespassing and criminal possession of a controlled substance.  He was released on appearances tickets for Buffalo City Court.
