Deputies See the Bag in Vehicle, That’s why there are No Routine Traffic Stops
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Bauer and Day stopped a vehicle on Olean Road in the Town of Holland for vehicle and traffic law violations March 6 around 11:30 P.M.
When the Deputies approached the vehicle and addressed the driver and passenger, they observed a bag with white powder. The passenger, John Wilson, 29, of Machias admitted to the Deputies that the substance was cocaine and it was his.
Wilson was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. The defendant was released on an appearance ticket for Holland Town Court.
The driver was issued a traffic ticket and released.
