Mother and Son Passengers Arrested Along with Driver & Girlfriend
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested four individuals December 30, following a traffic stop along the southbound lanes of Route 400 in the Town of Aurora.
Deputy Okal stopped a taxi after observing vehicle and traffic violations. When the Deputy approached the vehicle and had the driver open the rear sliding door, Deputy Okal detected the strong odor of marijuana and saw a small bag of heroin on the cabin floor. Other units arrived and the occupants were secured while a search of the vehicle and individuals was conducted.
The Deputies’ search discovered six bags of heroin, a quantity of crack cocaine, and a quantity of marijuana.
Arrested were:
1. Timothy Nye, 28, of Holland was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and possession of marijuana.
2. Joett Fisher (mother of Nye), 47, of Holland was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and possession of marijuana.
3. Luis Cedeno (taxi driver), 28, of Buffalo was charged criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and vehicle and traffic violations.
4. Cristalee Carrasquillo (reported girlfriend of the driver), 26, of Buffalo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
The four defendants were transported to the Erie County Holding Center and released after posting bail.
