Male Operator Reportedly Riding without Helmet

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports residents on South Hill Road in the Town of Colden called 911 after hearing a loud crash and seeing a male in ditch injured.

Deputies were dispatched Sunday around 8:42 P.M. to 9385 South Hill for a single ATV crash and when the Sheriff’s Office arrived, volunteer fire personnel were already on scene, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Sheriff’s Crash Investigation and ATV units were called to continue the investigation.

The fatal crash is still under investigation, and the identity of the male victim is being withheld at this time.
