Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Sheriff’s and Buffalo Police Department narcotics units raided a home of a suspected drug dealer Thursday afternoon in the City of Buffalo. Working with Buffalo Police, the Sheriff’s narcotic Detectives executed a search warrant signed by Supreme Court Justice Timothy Drury for a residence at 31 Norway Park.
During the raid, a felony amount of cocaine was seized along with packaging materials, scales and a loaded AK-47 rifle.
Arrested and charged in the raid was Ephriam Hunter, Jr., 38 of Buffalo. The defendant, a previously convicted felon, is charged with three individual felonies, one for criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell, a second for criminal possession of a loaded firearm, and a third for criminal possession of a controlled substance. Hunter was also charged with three separate misdemeanors related to drug paraphernalia.
Hunter is incarcerated at the Erie County Holding Center on $50,000 bail and awaits a Buffalo City Court appearance on November 18.
