Three Holes Located; One Bullet found in a Radio
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Detectives arrested Casey Schrader, 19, of Colden, and charged him with felony counts of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment following an investigation of bullet holes in a non-residential structure in Sardinia.
On December 5, Deputy Kelley was dispatched to a Sardinia address for reports of three bullet holes in a building. One bullet was located lodged in an exterior window; the second was located in a radio within the building, and a third-round stuck in a window frame. The investigation revealed the bullet fragments are from a .22 caliber round.
The incident was turned over to Detectives, and their investigation led them to a suspect. On December 14, Detectives arrested Schrader and charged him for his role in the incident.
Casey is being held at the Erie County Holding Center Pending his arraignment in Town of Sardinia Court.
The building was not occupied at the time of the incident.
