Heroin, Cocaine, and Paraphernalia Discovered 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested four individuals following traffic stops. 

October 2, 8:07 P.M., Village of Springville – Deputies McClelland and Thurston stopped a vehicle at South Cascade Drive and West Main Street for vehicle and traffic violations.  The female operator could not produce identification but offered a name.  The Deputies’ investigation revealed the true identity of the driver was Danielle Ray, 24 of Salamanca.  She was arrested for false personation and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.  The passenger was requested to exit the vehicle while the Deputies conducted an inventory search of the vehicle.  During the search, a bag of heroin and two glass pipes were discovered. 

Danielle Ray is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, false personation, and aggravated unlicensed operation as well as three vehicle and traffic law violations.  The passenger, Drew Williams - 30 of Salamanca, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.  Both defendants were transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending their arraignment. 

October 3, 1:03 A.M., Town of Brant – Deputies Christian and Phelps stopped a vehicle on Route 5 in front of Evangola State Park for vehicle and traffic violations.  Their investigation discovered cocaine, a pipe, and a hypodermic needle.  The Deputies also discovered the passenger, Laura Wojciechowski – 30 of Hamburg, had an active bench warrant out of Buffalo for drug-related charges.

Wojciechowski and Richard Crull, 33 of North Collins, were arrested and taken to the holding center.  Crull, the driver, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without a license, operating a vehicle without insurance, and two other vehicle and traffic law violations.  Wojciechowski is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. 

Crull was later released after posting $250.00 bail while Wojciechowski remains at the holding center pending her arraignment.
