Assaulted New Boyfriend then Fled
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested Michael Holmes, 32, of Sardinia, and charged him with two felonies and three separate misdemeanors following an incident at his ex-girlfriend’s residence in Holland Wednesday night.
Deputies were dispatched to a Holland residence at 11:14 P.M. after reports the defendant was yelling in the driveway then kicked in a door, entered the dwelling, and engaged in physical violence against the victim and her boyfriend; this occurred while minors were in the residence.
Holmes fled the scene, and Deputies located him at a Warner Hill Road residence where he refused police commands. Deputies eventually placed the subject in custody and charged him with a felony count of burglary – entering a dwelling and causing injury, a felony count of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor count of obstructing governmental administration, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and a misdemeanor count of assault.
Holmes is being held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Town of Holland Court.
