Subject Told Detective He Wasn’t Going to Stop
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Detective O’Hara arrested Carl Samuels, 47, of Buffalo after he called and texted his former employer for money.
The initial report was made on January 12, with the victim telling Detective O’Hara that Samuels repeatedly contacted him asking for money. While interviewing the victim, Detective O’Hara was present when Samuels called. The Detective advised Samuels not to contact the victim anymore but Samuels stated he wasn’t going to stop.
After continuous calls and texts, Detective O’Hara arrested Samuels and charged him with aggravated harassment. Samuels posted $1,000.00 bond and was later released from the Erie County Holding Center
