Nearly Drives into a Culvert

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Okal made a felony DWI arrest Saturday morning around 1:10 A.M. on North Main Street in the Town of Holland.

 

Deputy Okal stopped a vehicle operated by James Newman, 35, after the Deputy observed the vehicle leave the roadway and nearly drive into a culvert.  Newman failed several standard field sobriety tests and was arrested.  Newman is charged with Felony DWI – previous conviction within 10 years, and unsafely moving from the lane.

 

The defendant was released to a sober third party.
