Man Admitted to Buying the Marijuana in Buffalo

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 45-year-old Jeffery Muscalino of Orchard Park on a drug-related charge following a traffic stop.

On November 20, at approximately 12:07 a.m., a Deputy stopped a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 219 in the Town of Boston after observing vehicle and traffic law violations.  During the Deputy’s investigation, it was discovered Muscalino did not have a valid NYS driver’s license.  A search of the vehicle found approximately one-half pound of marijuana and $7,800.00 in U.S. currency, which was secreted throughout the vehicle’s cabin.  Muscalino admitted to the Deputy he traveled to the City of Buffalo to purchase the marijuana.

The subject is charged with a class-A misdemeanor for criminal possession of marijuana and two separate vehicle and traffic law violations.  He was released with appearance tickets for the Boston town court.
