Believed to have Stolen Vehicle following 219 Crash
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies responded to the Iroquois Smoke Shop on November 15, for reports of a driver appearing disoriented and bleeding from a head injury.
The Deputies investigation determined the subject was Joseph Fasolino, 51, of Orchard Park, and that he was the suspected driver who fled from New York State Police after a crash along Route 219 in the Town of Concord around 6 P.M. on November 14. While fleeing the crash scene, Fasolino is believed to have stolen a vehicle from a business on Trevett Road in Boston.
The suspect was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of injuries suffered during the crash and then was transferred to the Erie County Holding Center.
The Sheriff’s Office charged Fasolino with felony counts of criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny, as well as a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a vehicle. The defendant is being held at the holding center pending his arraignment in Boston Town Court.
