6-Time Felon and Parolee and Six Other Subjects Arrested
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports his Narcotics Unit conducted multiple raids Friday and seized nearly a quarter kilo of cocaine.
The first search warrant signed by Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case was executed at 194 Herkimer Street in Buffalo in the morning hours. During the search, members of the Narcotics Unit discovered 60-grams of cocaine. Their investigation also revealed the subject, Rodney Pearson, 45, of Buffalo is a six-time convicted felon and is currently on New York State parole.
Pearson is charged with felony drug possession and dealing charges along with four misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and a charge for marijuana possession. The defendant is at the Erie County Holding Center pending court proceedings.
During the second raid, the Narcotics Unit raided a residence on Amherst Street in Buffalo and discovered over 110 grams of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
While conducting this raid, two suspects were observed trying the leave the scene in a vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. The subsequent search of the subjects and vehicle discovered over 28 grams of cocaine.
Subjects arrested in the dwelling were:

Jason Love, 30, of Buffalo was charged with criminal possession with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance – 4oz or more, misdemeanor counts of criminal possession and use of drug paraphernalia, and marijuana possession.

Jasmine Peterson, 24, of Buffalo was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and marijuana possession.

Samuel Freeman, 32, of Buffalo was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and marijuana possession.

Akeem Goodwin, 27, of Buffalo was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and marijuana possession.

Kelsey Lash, 39, of Amherst was charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Maurice Fisher, 38, of Buffalo was charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Additionally, he was charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession.
Jason Love is at the Holding Center pending a court appearance; the other defendants were later released from the Holding Center after posting bond.
