Mall Management Provides Free Space for Community Policing

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces his office and the management of the Eastern Hills Mall have agreed to open a substation within the mall.

The substation will provide an area to meet with management, tenants, and mall guests to discuss safety and security issues.

The new office will also provide Deputies a secluded area to conduct initial investigations into mall incidents as well as serve as a base for community policing activities.
