Rath Building Guest Found With Nearly 4 Grams of Cocaine

Subject claimed it was Crushed Ibuprofen

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Bartholomew and Mohawk were posted at the Pearl Street entrance of the Rath Building Monday when a guest could not successfully clear the metal detectors.  When asked to check her pockets, Christine Soler, 40, of Utica, NY, removed a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance.  When the Deputies asked her about the substance, she replied it was “crushed ibuprofen.  However, when the Deputies field tested the substance, the results were positive for cocaine and weighed 3.96 grams. 

 

Soler is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.
