Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Malican, Hoffman, and Carriero responded to Two Rod Road in the Town of Marilla for reports of a rollover accident.  When they arrived, they observed a female trapped in a vehicle that had come to rest in a ditch.  Members of Marilla EMS extricated Jessica Jurewicz, 34, of Marilla and transported her to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.

Deputy Carriero followed the individual to the medical center as well as Deputy Biegasiewicz, a Drug Recognition Expert.  Following an evaluation by Deputy Biegasiewicz, Jurewicz was arrested and charged with DWI-drugs and a vehicle and traffic law infraction.

The defendant was later released on tickets with a future court appearance in Marilla Town Court.
