Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Units is still investigating the two-vehicle fatal crash on Saturday, February 24, on the Seneca Nation of Indians territory and is releasing the name of the victim.

The deceased operator is Eugene Bauer, 64 of Brant.

The vehicle operated by Bauer collided with a trailer being towed by a pickup truck in the northbound lane on Route 20.  Mr. Bauer was pronounced deceased at the scene.
