Two Male Students did not return from Recess

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports multiple Sheriff’s units, including tracking K9s, have been dispatched to Elma to search for two boys who did not return to Elma Primary following recess.

The Sheriff’s Office is preparing areas to deploy teams to begin searching near the school and surrounding areas.

The Sheriff’s Office is working with school officials to distribute descriptions of the boys.  The two missing students are nine and ten years old and if anyone locates the individuals should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 858.2903.

Air-1 is grounded for mandatory maintenance

UPDATE! The 2 boys were located at a nearby residence. They are safe and did not sustain any injuries.
