Seized Cocaine, Heroin, Marijuana, and Two Loaded Handguns
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces the arrest of a cocaine dealer following a several week investigation.
Working from anonymous tips received during the summer, the Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant signed by Judge Thomas Franczyk for a residence at 61 Cheltenham Drive in Buffalo. During the raid, members of the Narcotics Unit seized over four ounces of cocaine, over twenty-five grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, unidentified prescription pills, a small amount of heroin, and two loaded handguns.
Following the raid, Felix Medina, 39 of Buffalo, was arrested and charged with a class-A felony for criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, two felony counts of criminal possession of a loaded firearm. The defendant is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of marijuana – more than 25 grams.
Medina, who is a twice convicted New York State felon, was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
