Crack Pipe, Loose Pills, and Needles Discovered
Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 32-year-old Kasey Klein of Collins on an outstanding warrant and drug possession on February 27.
Deputies stopped a vehicle near the intersection of West Becker and Bagdad roads in the Town of Collins for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the investigation, the Deputies identified one of the occupants as a subject of an Erie County Sheriff’s warrant. Klein was taken into custody, and the subsequent search discovered a number of loose amphetamine pills, a crack pipe, a hypodermic needle, and two plastic straws with cocaine residue.
Klein is charged with five separate misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of possession of a hypodermic instrument and two violations of possessing a controlled substance not in the original container.
The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.
