The Operator Struck a Parked Vehicle near the Rath Building

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports a vehicle operated by 61-year-old Anthony Hunter struck a parked Sheriff’s vehicle on Pearl Street outside the Rath Building onTuesday.

 

At approximately 2:20 p.m., Deputies responded to the incident.  During their investigation, the Deputies discovered Anthony Hunter was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, suspended registration, and no insurance.  They also discovered the passenger, 51-year-old Keion Hunter of Buffalo, had an outstanding warrant out of the City of Buffalo.

 

Anthony Hunter is charged with misdemeanor counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.  He was also issued vehicle and traffic tickets for operating a vehicle without a license and without insurance; he was later released.

 

Keion Hunter was turned over to Buffalo police for the warrant.

 

The Sheriff’s vehicle sustained little to no damage.
