Man’s Last Known Address was in Buffalo

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports his office has identified the victim in Saturday’s fatal crash in Elma on Transit Road as Christopher A Young, 67, of Buffalo.

A Deputy from the Crime Scene Investigation Unit determined the identity through fingerprint matching as well as a tattoo on his arm.  The Sheriff’s Office contacted out-of-state next of kin on Wednesday, May 23. 

The Sheriff’s Office wants to thank the public for the numerous calls received about the identity of the individual and their concern for the victim.

The Sheriff’s crash unit is continuing its investigation into the incident.
