Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard wishes to pass along his best wishes to Xander and Jake for a full and speedy recovery.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to respect the family as they grieve the loss of Amanda and William, while at the same time caring for the boys. Although our investigation remains open and detectives are prepared to speak to the family, the Sheriff’s Office will only do so when the family and the boys are prepared to speak. Until then, the Sheriff’s Office will continue to provide support to the family and express its best wishes.
