Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports his office has made additional traffic related arrests during the saturated patrol initiative announced Tuesday.
Town of Elma, December 29 – Deputy Meredith initiated a traffic stop on Route 400 for a speeding vehicle. During the investigation, the Deputy discovered an amount of marijuana. Subsequently, Daniel Whalen, 25, of Buffalo was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Also, Whalen was issued a speeding ticket and later was released.
Village of Springville, December 30 – A vehicle operated by Jesse Perry, 23, of East Otto was stopped by Deputies on South Cascade. The Deputies’ investigation revealed the vehicle’s plates were suspended and subsequently Perry was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with suspended plates.
Town of Elma, December 31 – Kimberly Lickliter, 44, of West Seneca, was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop on Clinton Road. Lickliter was also charged with speeding, failure to keep in the proper lane, and other traffic violations. The defendant was later released to a sober third party.
