ATV Driver Charged With DWI After Passenger Is Injured In Crash

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies responded to an ATV crash Christmas night that injured the passenger.

Deputies Connolly and Szkatulski responded to the scene of an ATV crash on Versailles Plank Road on the Seneca Nation of Indians territory around 11:20 p.m. Christmas night.  When the Deputies arrived, 39-year-old female passenger was treated for a serious head injury and later was transported to Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight.

The ATV operator, Lee Jimerson – 32 of the Seneca Nation territory, was charged with speeding and DWI.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff Office’s Crash Investigation Unit.
