Buffalo Male Charged with Identity Theft As Well

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Detectives arrested Joshua Angielczyk, 26, of Buffalo following an investigation of a car larceny in the Village of Alden.

 

On February 17, Deputy Yavicoli responded to a Rusher Road address for a complaint that credit cards, bank cards, and personal identification cards were stolen from a vehicle overnight.  Detectives Hanna and Ferrick followed up on a report that one of the cards was used at a convenient store in the city.

 

Subsequent to the Detectives’ investigation, Angielczyk was arrested in Buffalo on February 23.  The subject is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of stolen property – credit cards, and misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and identity theft.

 

The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment on February 24.
