Unlicensed, Swerving and Driving too Slow Results in Additional charges

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Cannan and Bauer stopped a vehicle for violations on January 9 at approximately 1:10 A.M. on Whitehaven Road in the Town of Grand Island near Interstate 190. 

 

During their investigation, the Deputies discovered a quantity of cocaine and nearly a pound of marijuana and arrested Mark Patterson, 31, of Amherst.   Paterson is charged with a felony count of marijuana possession, misdemeanor counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance and three separate vehicle and traffic law violations. 

 

Paterson is being held at the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Grand Island Town Court on January 9.
