Pagano, a Surveyor, was Struck and Killed While Working along Rte.39

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Deputies assigned to the Crash Investigation Unit arrested Robert Sutherland today and charged him with a felony count of 2nd degree vehicular manslaughter following a lengthy investigation of a crash that occurred on July 6.

 

On that date at around 2 P.M., Sutherland was driving eastbound on Route 39 in the Town of Sardinia when the vehicle he was operating crossed over the road and onto the westbound shoulder where it struck and killed Mr. Pagano.

 

The defendant is at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Sardinia Town Court tonight at 5:30 P.M.
