Deputies Locate Car Used In Armed Robbery, Arrest 2 Males

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports patrol Deputies responded to a complaint at Elma Centennial Park on December 4 about two individuals who robbed a victim at gunpoint. 


Deputies Szkatulski and Zamorek interviewed the victim, who stated that an individual approached his vehicle and pointed a handgun at him, taking his wallet and $102.00.  The victim provided a description of the subject, the vehicle, and the license plate; Deputies later found the car and two subjects on Caroline Road in the Town of Elma.


Arrested and charged in the incident were Justin Giesler, 18, of Elma and Luke Brennan, 18, of Arcade.  Brennan was charged with felony counts of robbery, conspiracy, and criminal use of a firearm.  Brennan was also charged with misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and menacing.  Gielser was charged with felony counts of robbery and conspiracy as well as misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. 


Both defendants were taken to the Erie County Holding Center; Giesler was released following arraignment, and Brennan was remanded in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
