Dole

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announced the arrest of David Dole, 34, of Buffalo on a bench warrant out of the Town of Hamburg for endangering the welfare of a child charges filed in January 2016.

 

Dole applied for a Sheriff’s Deputy position within the Jail Management Division, and during the background process Deputies from the Professional Standards Division discovered the candidate was wanted by the Hamburg Police Department.  Dole’s original charges stem from an incident where he encouraged students on a bus he was driving to watch a YouTube video with a popular animated movie character performing sexually explicit acts.

 

Dole was at the Professional Standards Division office when he was taken into custody and turned over to the Hamburg Police Department.

 

Due to this arrest and other undisclosed arrests, the individual has been disqualified from any employment opportunities with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
