Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Rath Patrol Deputies were called by employees for a female subject yelling obscenities and refusing to leave on Monday, February 1.  Upon arrival, Deputies advised the subject to stop shouting obscenities and leave the premises.  The subject refused to leave and continued to yell causing a disturbance.  Subsequently, Amanda Coyne – 26 of Buffalo, was arrested for trespassing.

As the Deputies attempted to take the subject into custody, she pushed a Deputy and pulled away from their hold.  After a brief struggle, the subject was handcuffed and escorted to the Rath Building Substation for processing.

While searching the defendant in the substation, Deputies discovered numerous and various controlled prescription pills in containers bearing different people’s names.

The defendant was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct for obscene language, resisting arrest, obstruction, and four separate counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Coyne was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and was later released with a future Buffalo City Court appearance.
