Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Deputy Bauer initiated a traffic stop on West Main Street in the Village of Springville Tuesday night around 9:40.

 

The Deputy’s investigation discovered Nathan Wikman’s, 34, of Springville has two driver’s license suspensions.  Additionally, it was discovered that he had an active warrant from Florida for violation of an order of protection as well as a warrant from Pennsylvania on the charge of forgery.

 

The subject was detained and during the subsequent search of the vehicle the Deputy found numerous controlled substance pills not in the original containers and marijuana.

 

The defendant is at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment on charges of driving with a suspended license, equipment violation, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance not in the original container.  Wikman is scheduled to be arraigned October 6 at which time he will be turned over to Pennsylvania authorities.
