Driver Involved In Crash Arrested For DWI-Drugs

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Szczepanski was dispatched to investigate a report of a vehicle that may have been involved in an accident in East Aurora with front-end damage and driving on its rims.

 

The Deputy located the vehicle and stopped it near the intersection of Seneca and Transit roads.  With assistance from Drug Recognition Expert, Deputy Biegasiewicz, the operator, Montana Skimin, 19 of Buffalo, was arrested and charged with DWI – impaired by drugs.  The defendant was also charged with unlawful possession of the vehicle and unsafe tires. Skimin was released on appearance tickets.

 

The East Aurora Police Department responded to the scene to investigate the earlier crash.
