Operator And Passenger Riding Without Helmets 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Miller and Achtyl were first to respond from the Sheriff’s Office to an ATV accident near a residence on Davis Hill Road in Concord Thursday morning around 1:50. 

A Polaris Ranger operated by Devon Morlok, 21 of Concord, rolled over and Morlok and his 16-year-old female passenger were injured.  Morlok suffered a head injury and was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment, and the passenger suffered an injury to the pelvis region and a shoulder injury; she was taken to an area hospital for treatment. 

Deputy Coulombe of the Sheriff’s ATV Unit was called to continue the investigation, and Morlok is charged with DWI and four ATV violations which include speeding, reckless driving, and not wearing a helmet. 

Morlok was released on tickets for a future court date.
