Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces the sheriff’s office will be adding roving DWI patrols throughout Erie County for the July Fourth weekend.  The increased enforcement will also include DWI checkpoints at undisclosed locations in Erie County.

The enhanced DWI patrols are possible with funding from Erie County STOP DWI; the roving patrols will begin Friday, July 1.
