Southbound 219 Closed at Genesee Road

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Deputies responded to a crash along Route 219 in the southbound lanes on April 25, at 8:05 A.M.  The vehicle left the lanes of travel and collided with a bridge support for the Genesee Road overpass.

The southbound lanes of Route 219 at Genesee Road will be closed for the next four hours as the Crash Investigation Unit works at the scene.

The Sheriff Office reports that the victim is from out of the area, but no further details will be released at this time.
