Rovision

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of Robert Rovison in connection with a Grand Island burglary where a gun was stolen. 

Erie County Sheriff’s Detectives assigned to the Grand Island case developed information which led them to believe Rovison, 21, of Grand Island was a suspect in the Wednesday incident.  

Thursday afternoon, Detectives, along with members of the sheriff’s SWAT Team and Buffalo Police Department executed a search warrant at an Esser Avenue residence;  a stolen handgun from Wednesday’s Grand Island burglary and a felony amount of cocaine were recovered. Detectives arrested Rovison and charged him with felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance - cocaine, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and attempting to destroy evidence. 

Rovison is at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Buffalo City Court on July 29.
