Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Human Trafficking Unit arrested two individuals Friday night at a Clarence hotel on prostitution-related charges.

During an investigation, the unit arrested Malissa Thompson, 33 of Buffalo, on prostitution charges.   Deputies also arrested Rory Moran, 36 of Tonawanda, for Promoting Prostitution and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Both defendants were transported to the Erie County Holding Center where they were later released.  Both Moran and Thompson face future court proceedings in Clarence Town Court.
