Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Avery arrested an Elma man Friday night after the Deputy responded to a call about a vehicle that drove into a house on Jamison Road in the Town of Elma.

Just after 8:30 p.m., Deputy Avery arrived at the address and saw Thomas Koseck, 72, standing near his vehicle.  During the Deputy’s investigation, Koseck showed signs of intoxication; therefore, field sobriety tests and a breath test were administered.

Koseck failed the field tests and the breath test showed his BAC was greater than twice the New York State legal limit.  The subject was arrested and charged with DWI; tickets were issued and he was transported to ECMC for evaluation.
